Common Questions

Emergency Dental FAQs

Do I need to be a registered patient?

No. We see everyone, whether you're a regular patient or visiting us for the first time. No registration forms, no waiting to be accepted.

How quickly can I be seen?

Usually the same day. Call us or walk in between 9am and 5pm, any day of the week. We prioritise emergency patients and aim to see you within an hour or two.

What counts as a dental emergency?

Toothache, broken or chipped tooth, knocked-out tooth, dental abscess, facial swelling, lost filling or crown, bleeding that won't stop. If you're in pain or worried, it counts.

Can I just walk in?

Yes. Walk-ins are welcome every day. Calling ahead helps us prepare for you, but it's not required.

Is it really £65 all-in?

Yes. Your £65 emergency appointment includes the examination, X-rays, diagnosis, and pain relief. If you need treatment beyond that, we'll quote you clearly before starting.

Can you do emergency root canals?

Yes. We can start root canal treatment the same day if needed. In many cases we can complete it in one visit.

Do you treat children?

Yes, all ages. We're experienced with children and take a gentle, patient approach. Children's examinations are £39.

What if I need follow-up treatment?

We'll give you a written treatment plan with options and prices. No pressure, no sales tactics. You decide what to do and when.

What if it's after 5pm?

Leave a voicemail and we'll call you back first thing. For life-threatening emergencies (severe breathing difficulty, uncontrollable bleeding), go to A&E.

I went to Dentozen first time. I felt very lucky to pick this place. Normally I am very nervous when I visit dentist, this time I was not. The filling she made I was very happy. Her hand was light and came out of place with big smile and pain free. Thank you Neha Patel.

I was leaving London the next day to travel to NZ when my crown became loose. I emailed Dentozen that night, not expecting a reply. I was amazingly given an appointment for early the very next morning on a bank holiday. My crown was very securely fixed, taking away the high stress of it falling out on my massive journey home. Plus a bonus are that their fees are very reasonable!! The Dentozen team are superstars!

I called Dentozen whilst I was experiencing dreadful toothache. I was seen pretty much immediately on the Sunday and after X-rays it was found I needed root canal. The service and comfort I received from Dr Patel and Nurse Fabiana was just amazing. I actually did not feel a thing. They were kind and supportive the whole time. I cannot recommend this place enough.
